Truly listening to the needs of clients and fellow brokers to ensure a smooth transaction for everyone has taken Laura Bennos far in real estate. Bennos, a Realtor with Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty in Sudbury, has grown her business based on client and personal referrals since her start in 2017.

She serves all categories of buyers and sellers, from first-time to move-up and empty-nester, in the MetroWest area, specializing in Sudbury and surrounding towns. Originally from the South Coast of Massachusetts, she’s lived in Sudbury for 12 years. “My husband and I love raising our twin boys in this community,” she says. “We’ve made lifelong friends who have become family, and that is the way I approach my business. I want to be your person for all things home.”

With a no-pressure, proactive style, Bennos makes the transaction process all about the client. “I listen to their homebuying goals, and then we can figure out how best to work together to achieve those goals,” she says. “If they are new to the area, I suggest a guided tour of the town with customized stops in neighborhoods in their price range.” During the tour, she brings up landmarks, which helps create dialogue and allows buyers to ask questions as they think of them. Bennos prioritizes communication, considering it the key to a successful transaction.

“I love what I do,” she remarks. “Buying or selling a house can be a daunting process, but I look at it as connecting people to a home that they can build their lives in. At the end of the day, the process should be exciting for the buyer/seller.”

When not selling real estate, Bennos can be found volunteering in the community or at any of the local baseball fields, basketball courts or hockey rinks, as her boys love sports.
