When describing the customers she typically works with, Kelly Dimbat doesn’t restrict herself to a niche such as luxury clients, first-time homebuyers or investors. Instead, she describes her ideal client as anyone “interested in building wealth through property ownership.” That ideal client sounds a lot like herself when she was first drawn to the real estate industry, itching to own a Boston property and become a landlord.
She achieved that goal and became a Realtor, leveraging her familiarity with every corner of the city to build her business and serve her clients. “I started at a time when we still used paper maps,” Dimbat remembers. “Having been a Realtor for 21 years, I know many cities and lots of neighborhoods quite well.”
Real estate has come a long way since the paper-map days, and Dimbat embraces all the technology available. “I love the proprietary software our broker provides that matches seller and buyer leads,” she says, “and the app my buyer clients can download allows me to message directly with them and gives them tools such as a commute calculator and a comparison of two listings side by side.” She also makes use of social media for connecting with clients, including going live when she has something exciting to share.
Dimbat is recognized as a Lamacchia Top Producer with more than $15 million in sales and is a recipient of the FiveStar Professional Award. Her personal team includes her virtual assistant, her transaction coordinator, a mentor coach and a business consultant. With their help, she stays organized and says she is able to help far more people than she could on her own.
In the community, Dimbat is involved with Bridge Over Troubled Waters (Bridge), an organization serving Boston’s at-risk youth. She enjoys traveling inside and outside the United States.
