Born in India, Genevieve Botelho grew up living all over the world, including Egypt, Greece, Mexico and London until she was 14. With 16 siblings, her childhood experiences help her adapt to every situation and recognize clients of all different backgrounds and cultures. “That understanding, along with my positive outlook and creativity, benefits my clients in feeling comfortable and staying well informed during the entire process,” Botelho says. “My ultimate goal is to always have a happy client at the end of every transaction.”

A Realtor with Lamacchia Realty, Botelho was fascinated with real estate as a child when her grandfather served as president of the board of Realtors in New Jersey. She continues to live by her grandfather’s motto, ‘I don’t sell houses; I help people find homes,’ while continuing to train and learn more about the industry to best serve her clients. “I’m so lucky to love what I do in helping people’s real estate dreams become reality,” she says. “Most of my clients come from referrals from past clients, friends and family, which is the best compliment to receive.”

A top producer, Botelho ranked No. 1 in her office for both transactions and sales volume from 2019-21, and received the Diamond Award in 2021, selling 52 homes with $23 million in sales. A member of the President’s Club since 2018, she held Lamacchia’s President’s Club Elite status in 2020-21. She also served on the Realtor Association of Central Massachusetts’ membership committee for many years.

Botelho loves spending time with her daughters, Chloe (18) and Amelie (16). She also enjoys working out to keep her head in the game. “This business can be overwhelming at times, and it helps me to work it out in the gym,” she admits. “I love that my two teenage daughters are able to see a strong, hardworking, independent woman getting things done day in and day out.”
