Starting his professional life as a special education teacher and behavior consultant, Zachary Gerg loves that real estate still allows him to be of service, and with no ceiling to his success. Though an impactful educator, he sought a change of pace and scenery. Recognizing his extroverted nature and service-oriented work ethic, a friend recommended real estate as a career option. Now six years into his real estate career, Gerg has found his professional fit.
Serving Boston and the South Shore areas, Gerg works with all client types — from first-time homebuyers to empty nesters, and from investors to developers. Specializing in condominiums, single-family homes and multifamily properties, he knows Dorchester, Weymouth and other South Shore areas very well. He’s happy to call the South Shore his home. Despite his familiarity, he puts a great deal of time into knowing the places he serves, from the best local eateries to building relationships with local business owners. Known for his reliability and trustworthiness, Gerg serves as a source of clarity for his clients amid the murkiness of real estate transactions.
When asked what he brings to the table, he says, “I bring the table.” Gerg is focused on growth through client satisfaction and through building relationships — a business posture that helped sustain him through the pitfalls of the 2021 market. A patient professional, Gerg has a malleable business style that allows him to accommodate a vast range of clientele. He’s proud to have hired his first team member, an invaluable resource that allows him to say yes to more business with a consistent quality of service. He’s now starting to see a majority of his business come through referrals and the network he’s cultivated.
Gerg attended college on a vocal scholarship and still enjoys singing whenever and wherever he can. He also is an advocate for equity, inclusion and diversity in business and education.
