Action, accessibility, calmness and fun are all traits that Savvas Fetfatsidis instills into his career every day as vice president of mortgage lending for Guaranteed Rate. In the past year alone, he helped more than 475 customers with their mortgage financing, funded over $210 million in closed volume, ranked as a President’s Club producer and was recognized with the Chairman’s Club award for the third year in a row.

Fetfatsidis and his team have a steadfast commitment to closing deals “on time, every time,” and he stresses the importance of delivering news in a manner that works best for clients. “I am proud of my ability to attack loan issues calmly and clearly,” he explains. “There is always a solution. It’s just as important to be transparent with the client without causing a panic when issues do arise.”

Despite his extensive experience as a mortgage lender, Fetfatsidis considers himself a constant student. Because of his unrelenting curiosity and passion for learning, he says, “I am usually one of the first loan officers to originate a recently released program. This not only benefits the customer, but also gives me an edge against the competition.”

An avid musician, Fetfatsidis likes playing piano and guitar, as well as collecting the guitars of his favorite musicians. He also enjoys staying fit through CrossFit and in 2018 ran the original Athens Marathon in Greece.
