Brandon Tabassi’s road to a career in real estate may have been winding, but as the son of a longtime real estate veteran, his landing in the industry was only a matter of time. “I was always fascinated by the process,” says Massachusetts native Tabassi, noting that his mother would bring him to the office when he was just 8 years old.
The president and broker of record at RE/MAX Partners Relocation, Tabassi oversees corporate relocation purchases, sales and rentals throughout New England and the tri-state area while leading his agents and operations staff.
Before joining RE/MAX, Tabassi worked in politics and the film industry. “When I was 16 years old, Senator John Kerry appointed me as his U.S. Senate page,” he recalls. “Then the late Senator Kennedy asked me to help his nephews Joe and Matt Kennedy in running his final campaign for U.S. Senate.” After returning to the U.S. Senate in his early 20s to work with Senator Kerry, Tabassi transitioned into entertainment, beginning at William Morris Agency before winning a spot in Ben Affleck’s “Argo.” Unfortunately, his movie career was cut short due to a family emergency that sent him back to Massachusetts, where he set up his own real estate company. Still, Affleck later asked him to play Joe Nazzarin in the Showtime series “City on a Hill.”
Tabassi has been recognized in Realtor Magazine’s “Thirty Under Thirty” campaign and received Diamond Club recognition for earning over $1 million in commissions each year. He consistently ranks as Platinum with the Realtor Board and has continued his career-long streak as a RE/MAX Top Producer. His group is currently RE/MAX’s No. 1 for luxury home sales across Massachusetts/New England, and its members are recognized among Real Trends’ Top Agents in the United States.
Tabassi is a member of the Massachusetts Audubon Society and the nonprofit Trustees of Reservations. A self-described outdoorsman, he loves hiking the White Mountains and spending summer evenings in Maine.
