Mian LaVallee believes the buying and selling process should be as stress-free and fun as possible. “It should be something you can’t wait to tell your friends and family about,” says LaVallee, senior partner at Wilson Group of Keller Williams, Chestnut Hill’s No. 1 team for more than a decade. With over 15 years of industry experience, she serves the residential market in and around Boston’s MetroWest, drawing over 80% of her business from referrals. “My secret,” she says, “is I love what I sell so I’m good at what I do.”
With clients referring to her as “Magic Mian” and “the best negotiator we never knew we needed,” LaVallee takes a consultative approach by listening to clients’ dreams, needs and motivations. “Through understanding the why, we get to their end goal much faster,” she says. Due to her longevity in the industry, LaVallee has become a family Realtor, guiding clients and their siblings through every phase of their real estate journey.
As part of the Wilson Group, LaVallee has access to in-house experts, as well as pre-vetted professionals ranging from attorneys to stagers. “The reality is no one person can do it alone,” she explains, noting that this sentiment extends to her competition. “I am constantly striving to break down that narrative that we are at odds with each other, because there’s plenty of room at the top. And I see us all there.”
LaVallee is a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, the National Association of Realtors, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, the Women’s Council of Realtors and Keller Williams Luxury International. She and her team also donate to the Alex’s Team Foundation. Outside of work, LaVallee is a mom of three, amateur “iron chef” and human pillow for a 100-pound rescue dog named Prince Harry.
