Phil MacArthur and Sarah Mooradian have an unparalleled enthusiasm for real estate. With 15 years of industry experience combined and complementary areas of expertise, they founded Burbs to Boston at Compass to enable a streamlined transaction for both buyers and sellers within Downtown Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline and Newton.
“I love that real estate allows me to connect with people of all backgrounds with various jobs and various stages of life,” says Mooradian, adding that throughout her decade in the industry, she’s utilized the analytical skills developed during her prior career as an international tax advisor at Ernst & Young. Initially working in rentals before transitioning to buyers and sellers, many of whom are repeat clients, she attributes her success to her extensive market knowledge and communication skills.
MacArthur built his business by working as a listing agent and currently assists luxury sellers in downtown Boston from the North End Waterfront to Longwood Medical Area. “Many of my clients have experience selling multiple homes, so I position myself as an agent who will help market and advertise the property to its fullest,” he explains, adding that his innovative approach to marketing, his work ethic, and his willingness to embrace new technology are fundamental to maintaining his reputation as a high-quality professional.
This year, after two years as a team, MacArthur and Mooradian hired a new team member, allowing them to expand their business without sacrificing the individualized attention and efficient service that they’re known to deliver. “We are always looking to seek out new opportunities for our buyers and expose properties for our sellers in a new light,” they say.
MacArthur is a supporter of Bridge Over Troubled Water and Caritas Communities. He is also a member of the Advisory Council and Ambassadors Council to help youth and veterans get access to housing. Outside of work, they both enjoy taking the time to relax and reset, MacArthur at the North Shore and Mooradian in Newport, Rhode Island.
