As Realtor and team lead of Darlene Umina Group of Lamacchia Realty, Darlene Umina serves clients within the Metro Boston and Metro West markets. “My clients will say they woke up in their dream home,” she says. “Often, the selling and buying process seems overwhelming, so I break it down and simplify it to get the job done.”

In 2017, Umina qualified for the President’s Club with $16 million in sales by July 30, and closed out the year as the No. 1 agent by sales volume at Lamacchia Realty. In 2018, she once again qualified for the President’s Club, this time with $20 million in sales by August 31. “To be a successful Realtor, you need a million tools in your toolbox,” she says, adding that for her, likeability and a thorough marketing strategy are two that continue to propel her career forward.

This year, Umina hired former client Nicole Siswick as her new buyer’s agent/assistant, making it possible to accommodate her expanding business without sacrificing the quality of her service. “It was a major leap to start a team, but it has been the absolute best thing I could have done for both me and my clients.”

Umina is a member of the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing, the National Association of Realtors and the Greater Boston Association of Realtors, and a Real Trends Top Sales Professional 2017. She supports St. Jude Hospital through the St. Jude Walk Boston, as well as Cops for Kids with Cancer, among other children’s organizations.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and entertaining for her family and friends, spending time with her kids and golden retriever, going to the beach, and having dinners out in the city with her husband and colleagues.
