Samantha Jason’s career in real estate developed out of an admiration for the aesthetics of fine architecture. Now, nine years after entering the industry, she’s a Realtor and associate partner with The Residential Group at William Raveis Real Estate and works with buyers and sellers within the greater Boston market on properties ranging from studio apartments and single-family homes to condos with stellar views of the city.
Within the first seven months of 2017, Jason closed more business than she did in all of 2016, already exceeding her sales goals for the year. She describes her biggest accomplishment as having the opportunity to serve repeat clients. “Almost all of my business comes from repeat clients — either as a referral or repeat customer — which to me is the biggest compliment,” she says.
With a background in marketing and previous experience working as a projects assistant at a small construction management company, Jason had a head start when she entered the real estate industry. Earlier this year, her negotiation skills proved invaluable as she beat out established agents for a listing, communicating with the potential client through emails and texts while she was on vacation. “As a Realtor, you’re always trying to grow your business while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism to your existing clients,” she says. “You never know when you’re going to get a call for new business.”
Jason is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. She is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative and five-star agent on Zillow.
Jason is also a passionate volunteer and supporter of local and national nonprofits, including Giveback Homes. “For every home I sell, I donate a portion of my sales to a current build project supported by Giveback Homes,” she says. She also champions Friends of Boston’s Homeless, Home for Little Wanderers, Community Servings and Horizons for Homeless Children.
