Eric W. Johnson, Broker
Melissa Raynor, Agent
Mission Realty Advisors

Eric W. Johnson and Melissa Raynor of Mission Realty Advisors are a real estate power couple — he’s the owner of the firm and current broker, she’s an agent — and together, along with their team of agents, they bring their clients’ goals to fruition.

Johnson has worked in the real estate industry for 11 years, first specializing in rentals before transitioning to sales, project development and consulting. His knowledge of all facets of the industry — including marketing, construction, interior design, architecture and pricing — and his experience working on projects with budgets ranging from $400,000 to $5.5 million have garnered him the title of one of 2016’s 100 Most Influential Agents in Massachusetts. In total, he’s sold over $200 million in real estate, and this year alone, he’s on track to sell over $50 million.

“We are so proud of all the work that we do,” Johnson says. “We are especially proud that we were able expand our volume as a team, but not compromise our level of service to our clients this year. So far this year we have closed 30 percent more business than all of last year, and the year is not over!”

“We don’t take an overly salesy approach,” he adds. “We want to build lasting relationships with our clients, not just bring in a commission. At the end of the day, our top priority is our client’s satisfaction.”

In 2015, after 12 years of working in marketing at technology companies and in program management for non-profits, Raynor joined Johnson at his firm, adding residential sales to her already-impressive skill set. Because of her professional background as well as her personal connection to real estate — her family owns a real estate business in New York — Raynor is uniquely qualified to assist sellers in presenting their homes and guide everyone, from first-time buyers to more seasoned families and individuals, through the process.

“I take a highly consultative approach to working with clients, acting as a teacher, advocate, counselor and chief negotiator,” she says, noting that her goal is to make the transaction as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

On top of managing their own sales, Johnson and Raynor lead a team of rental agents who are currently paced to beat their previous records. They are also masters of advertising through Zillow, so much so that Johnson recently met with Zillow executives as a consultant on new projects and technologies.

Mission Realty Advisors was one of the premier sponsors of the Jamaica Plain Music Fest, and both Raynor and Johnson were active volunteers during the event. When they’re not working, they enjoy renovating properties, volunteering, skiing and spending time in the outdoors, especially with their two dogs.
