David Hill
Senior Loan Officer
Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp.
As a mortgage loan officer, school sports coach and community pillar for decades, David Hill has served as a trusted expert and valued mentor to many. His lending career has spanned more than 30 years and thousands of clients, and he has closed on every full application he has received – an achievement matched by few originators. To better serve his clients in Eastern Massachusetts and beyond, Hill joined Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp. as a senior loan officer in 2017.
Early in his mortgage career, Hill discovered he loved helping people purchase their dream homes. He served the Boston luxury market for many years and now spends much of his time assisting first-time homebuyers. Over the years, his client base has become quite varied, and he maintains friendships with many past borrowers. Clients return to him as their housing needs change, and his real estate agent partners and former customers refer their family and friends to his expert service.
“I have a love of coaching,” Hill says. “My motto is to listen and educate. I truly encourage my clients to ask questions, and I make sure they understand the mechanics of the loan process and the ins and outs of homeownership.”
From helping injured veterans obtain VA financing to transitioning his business to an exceptional new lending company, Hill had many achievements to celebrate this past year. His greatest joy, however, was supporting and sharing in his family’s accomplishments: his wife’s national political advocacy, his daughter’s noted biotech work and his son’s lifesaving medical research.
Hill has been an active contributor to his industry and community. He is a master mason and treasurer at the Mount Hollis Masonic Lodge; a supporter of cardiac research and many local and national charities; the charter organization representative for Boy Scouts Troop 76; and a member of the Asian American Real Estate Association. He recently retired from 27 years of coaching junior high and high school sports.
Though no longer a coach in the sports capacity, David Hill’s borrowers can rest assured that he’ll be there to coach them on their home financing for years to come.
