Compass International Holdings has named Rory Golod to the newly created role of president of growth, the company announced.
In the position, Golod will focus on helping the brokerage’s network of 340,000 real estate professionals grow their businesses through Compass’s technology platform. His responsibilities will include overseeing agent recruitment, mergers and acquisitions, coaching initiatives and corporate communications.
The move reflects Compass’ broader push to unify its agents around a single, AI-powered platform aimed at improving productivity, streamlining workflows and enhancing client service.
Golod has been with Compass for nearly a decade and has held several senior leadership roles, including co-leading the company’s brokerage operations and serving as chief of staff to CEO Robert Reffkin. He played a key role in the company’s national expansion.
“Rory has a proven track record of helping agents grow and realize their entrepreneurial potential — from co-leading our brokerage business to driving our nationwide growth,” Reffkin said in a statement.
Golod said his focus in the new role will be on agent success.
“When agents succeed, everything else follows,” he said. “We are at an important moment for our industry. The future should be built around empowering agents and homeowners, and I am committed to helping make that happen by providing the best technology, coaching and support in the business.”
