Complacency is not in Michael Suffoletto’s vocabulary. A senior loan officer for Guaranteed Rate, the veteran originator says he’s not satisfied until his clients receive a mortgage expertly tailored to their needs.

Despite working in finance after graduating from college, Suffoletto found himself yearning for client interaction. A family friend introduced him to the mortgage industry and mentored him during his career change. “I love being able to share my interests and expertise while directly impacting people’s lives both financially and emotionally,” he says.

Suffoletto won Rookie of the Year in his first year with M&T Bank. Since joining Guaranteed Rate, he’s earned entry into the President’s Club and Chairman’s Club. He has ranked among the top 200 mortgage originators in the country, according to National Mortgage News. Eighteen years of experience help him see and avoid issues before they happen: “Others may say ‘no’ when I know how to say ‘yes’,” he says.

Suffoletto’s primary markets are the New England states. But he also practices in Florida, California and other states to better assist his clients in finding vacation homes and investment properties. He and most of the members of his team have been working side-by-side for over 15 years, moving as a well-oiled machine.

At the end of the day, Suffoletto says his success comes down to how much he really cares about his clients. “Clients deserve the best service, best experience, best advice and best mortgage,” he says. “I believe in what I offer and provide.”
