Christopher’s Haven, a Boston-based nonprofit organization, added New Tradition Director of Real Estate Sebastiano Amara to its board of directors.
In the role, Amara will leverage his market insight and experience in Boston urban development to help Christopher’s Haven provide furnished temporary housing to families of children being treated for cancer at nearby hospitals.
Amara joins board members Jim Abbott, Diana Knightly, Bruce Taylor, Michael Aroca, Mike Chase, David Lane, Kevin Liu and Emily Whittemore.
“Christopher’s Haven plays an essential role in supporting families when they need it most, and I’m proud to join the Board of Directors at such an important time for the organization,” he said. “I look forward to working alongside this dedicated group to help further the mission, strengthen the community and ensure more families have access to a true home away from home during their child’s treatment.”
