What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? I was an attorney at a prominent NYC law firm. I worked many long hours most at my desk! but certainly learned a lot! I have to say, I love being out and about more in real estate!
 
Where did you grow up? Newton, MA
 
Growing up, what did you want to be? I always wanted to be like Katie Couric or an actress. My daughter, Emma, has a love of theater so maybe she will be the one!
 
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I should do more yoga!
 
 
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Thats a tough one I am very entrepreneurial so I feel like i would like to meet someone like Sarah Blakely.
 
 
What is Boston’s best-kept secret? I wish I was more in the “know.” I can tell you the best suburban spots with kids. Does that count 😉 ?
 
What do you love most about the industry? Getting to know my clients and anticipating their desires even before they realize it themselves!
 
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? Having my law degree definitely sets me apart and helps some given an added layer of trust I can do the job. I also am truly a 24-7 agent and go above any regular job expectations to make my clients happy.
 
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Probably that it is unpredictable but that is also what makes it great!
 
 
What’s your best advice for generating new leads? As of now, I am still get clients by “word of mouth” and referrals.
 
What has been your greatest accomplishment? In my fourth ear in real estate, I was awarded a TOP PRODUCER from Boston Magazine! I hope to keep making that list and many more
 
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately? I always love the Podcast “How I Built This” I am an addict! In terms of TV, I love a lot — big “Ted Lasso” fan!
 
What’s your favorite meal in Boston? You will laugh, but Picco in South End or a burger at O’Hara’s in Newton I am easy to please (or have the palate of a toddler 😉 )
 
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Boston? I always love Faneuil Hall. I think it is so pretty and fun!
 
 
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? I think there is a “client-broker” privilege ;). Can’t disclose!
 
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you? I think they learn I have a pretty good sense of humor.
 
 
What is your favorite vacation spot and why? Cape Cod. I love going with my family and its just endless laughs and fun.
 
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Don’t get discouraged! Keep working hard. Business will follow.
 
What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app? Compass, obviously!
 
Who are your favorite people to follow on social media? I love all the interior designers sites all of them! It’s just so fun to see rooms and houses transform with things as simple as paint and furniture.
