Touchstone Closing announces merger, new office and a new entity

by Liz Hughes

Touchstone Closing has merged with Conway Law, LLC bringing attorneys who specialize in estate planning, land use, general litigation and landlord-tenant disputes to the team. Touchstone will also gain a new closing office on Main Street in downtown Reading.

In addition to the merger, Michael Conway has been appointed a new partner to the company, bringing more than two decades of real estate transactions and litigation, business law and estate planning experience to the company, according to a press release. He also built his own practice and has been selected as a “Rising Star” and “Best Lawyer” for the Best of The Readings awards numerous times.

The merger, along with the recent hire of attorney partner Mary Cautadella, also has Touchstone announcing a new entity — Touchstone Law Offices, which will complement the services offered by Touchstone Closing.

Cathy Thompson is also joining the team as a staff attorney, bringing her more than 30 years of experience connecting people and helping them navigate real estate transactions and estate planning.

“The synergies of outstanding client service, smooth transaction reputation and related law services will make for a seamless transition and expansion. We are thrilled to welcome such highly regarded attorneys to our growing team,” said John K. O’Donohue, co-founder and managing partner of Touchstone Closing and Touchstone Law Offices, in the release.
