LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance offers support to Asian American Pacific Islander community

by Liz Hughes

The Greater Boston Chapter of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance has issued a statement in support of the Asian American Pacific Islander Community. The alliance’s executive committee met Thursday night and has since issued the following statement in a press release:

“The Atlanta (& other) attacks that led to the deaths of eight people, the majority of whom were Asian American women, are deeply upsetting hate crimes. This is the most recent example of a disturbing rise in acts of violence and hate directed toward the Asian American Pacific Islander  (AAPI) community. We acknowledge and condemn these acts and stand in support of the AAPI community. The acts do not represent our feelings for our AAPI neighbors or how they should be treated. We are committed to eradicating racism and bigotry, and working toward a community where everyone feels welcomed, valued and safe.”

The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance is an all-inclusive, all-embracing alliance for real estate professionals that advocates for equality in homeownership.
