This Week in Boston Real Estate: NAR 30 Under 30, Back Bay project and more

Realtor magazine from the National Association of Realtors is gearing up to highlight the best young people in the business for its annual 30 Under 30 honors, and some local professionals are in the running. Randy Horn of Compass and Nicole Rideout of Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty are among the dozens of candidates. See the slate of nominees and vote here.

In other recent Boston news:

  • Weiner Ventures’ proposal for a 27-floor development over the Massachusetts Turnpike recently won approval from the Boston Planning & Development Agency. Due to its position on the turnpike, the mostly residential 1000 Boylston Street still has to win approval from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, according to The Boston Globe.
  • Michael McNiff recently was honored with the Coldwell Banker International President’s Circle award. The agent, from the brokerage’s Beverly office, has more than 35 years of experience and specializes in the North Shore.
  • A recent NeighborhoodX analysis revealed that Navy Yard is the priciest area in Boston now, where one property is going for $918 per square foot.
