With a strong role model in her mother, who hustled to provide for her family, Mona Bottoni DeRosby has a drive to succeed. Growing up, she watched her single mom invest what little money she had in real estate until she eventually owned multiple properties and enjoyed financial freedom. “It showed me how investing in real estate can change your life,” DeRosby shares. Today, DeRosby owns multiple investment properties and has been a landlord for over 15 years.
She joined the real estate world upon graduating from UMass and has been in the business for nearly 20 years. With a BFA in fine arts, her knowledge of art and design has benefited her throughout her career, whether she’s helping a seller to stage and refresh their home or advising a builder on design, layout and color. “I am passionate about presentation, and it makes all the difference for my clients.” She even has a 700-square-foot storage space packed with staging items.
At Button & Co., DeRosby leads a team of six, of whom she’s extremely proud. “They have all become determined Realtors,” she notes. “The team covers the North Shore of Massachusetts as well as New Hampshire, serving over 35 communities.” Since Button & Co. joined Laer, DeRosby has earned the agency’s Diamond Club award three times and was named Lion of the Year in 2021. Previously, she earned multiple awards from Keller Williams, where she volunteered on the Agent Leadership Council for six years, teaching new agents.
Clients and peers laud DeRosby’s communication skills and responsiveness, and they trust her to be their go-to person for all things real estate. “When you give every bit of effort into finding your clients the perfect home or selling a listing for top dollar, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing your clients succeed,” she says.
In her spare time, DeRosby enjoys spending family time on Lake Ossipee and daily weight training.
