After graduating from college, Bryan Brown played semi-pro football in Germany for a year. When he returned home, a few of his friends started working at a mortgage company. Their success appealed to him, so he joined them at the company; 20 years later he’s still excited about his career.
Brown, a branch manager at Guaranteed Rate, always leads by example to help his team maximize their potential. Known for being incredibly responsive and professional, he begins every client relationship with a phone call, to get acquainted and set accurate expectations.
“I go out of my way to make sure each loan is the right fit for my clients’ short-term and long-term financial goals,” Brown says. “I’m honored to say that 100% of my business is referral based. It makes me even more conscious of the fact that doing the right thing for each client means I’m doing my absolute best for my agent and advisor referral partners, as well as my previous clients.” In 2023, when many others hunkered down and stopped hosting events to focus on self-preservation, Brown doubled down on his networking efforts, holding several successful events for his sphere, focused on motivation, facing challenges head-on and making connections — all while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores and not sacrificing time with his wife and three children.
Among Guaranteed Rate’s top 1% of mortgage originators nationwide, Brown has maintained President’s Club status since 2012 and has received the company’s Chairman’s Circle award. He’s also a member of the Hopkinton Business Network International chapter, Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce, Hopkinton Economic Development Committee and MetroWest Divorce Professionals, along with proudly serving as president of Hopkinton Youth Football and coach for his youngest son’s hockey team. He has recently expanded his comfort zone by creating both a podcast and his own YouTube channel, featuring news about local real estate, cities, and events across Massachusetts.
