Born in Lawrence, Michelle Fermin is the proud mother of three children and the founder and leader of The Fermin Group, one of the top-producing real estate teams in greater Boston. She’s also an owner and partner of the Lawrence branch at Century 21 North East and is currently licensed in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Licensed in real estate for over 26 years, Fermin started her team after working as a solo agent for 22 years. “Back then it was a team of just 3 people, but today we’re a group of 33 professionals,” she shares. “When we first launched the team in 2018, I led the team to #1 in the state of Massachusetts. A year later in 2019, I led the team to #1 in the country. The following year in 2020, I led the team to #1 in the world, and we have remained a top 5 global team ever since.”

In 2021, Fermin’s team was voted “The Most Influential Real Estate Team in all of Massachusetts” by their peers. Last year, she founded the Junior Fermin Team to help new agents by educating them on the basics and fundamentals of real estate. She also operates Michelle Fermin Coaching, a leadership coaching program. In 2022, she founded Premiere VA Group, a virtual assistant company for real estate agents and loan officers. 

Fermin recently started working on her first book, which will talk about living her passion through travel. “It’s truly a passion of mine to meet people and understand different cultures, religions and different ways of living,” she says.

In 2023, Fermin will start construction on her first residential development project right here in her hometown of Lawrence, Massachusetts.
