Mortgage advisor Lucas McGary’s goal is to create the best possible mortgage experience in Boston — something he does daily by adapting and growing with the ever-changing market. His constant drive to improve his business resonates with clients, who know at all times during the transaction that McGary has their back and their best interests at heart.

Before venturing into the mortgage world, McGary spent over 15 years as the sales manager for a moving company. Though the company was a small startup when he first joined, by the time he left, it had become one of the top-rated companies in the area thanks to the stellar service they provided. “I always had a passion for providing top-notch service and wanted to branch out from the moving world to a different part of the real estate transaction,” he recalls.

Thanks to his connections in real estate, McGary was ultimately able to start a career as a mortgage advisor. He now works at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, where he ranks among the top 10 officers company-wide.

In the five years since joining the mortgage industry, McGary has become one of the top loan officers in the country. In 2022 he was able to help over 125 first-time homebuyers realize their dream of homeownership.

McGary serves as the co-founder of Boston’s largest First Time Home Buyer Workshop. Over the past five years, he and his business partner, a Boston Realtor, have helped nearly 300 attendees purchase their first homes.
