While real estate has been a lifelong pursuit for Irene Bremis, who joined her father’s business at 13, her personal work ethic and drive for self-improvement have made her a leader in the greater Boston market. “I’m very loyal, committed and tenacious when it comes to getting the job done,” she explains.
Bremis continues to learn and grow even after 30 years in the real estate industry. In addition to certifications as a senior real estate specialist, certified relocation coordinator, accredited buyer’s representative and seller representation specialist, she recently earned her certification in loss mitigation and green designation.
At LAER Realty Partners, Bremis earned the Diamond Club award in 2019, 2020 and 2021. The recognition she’s most proud of, however, is the Heart of the Lion Award, which is bestowed on agents who have had to perform under the most challenging of circumstances. Surviving a near-death experience this past year, Bremis has relied on her faith and perseverance, saying, “When you do the right thing, even in difficult times, you will receive the rewards for the fruits of your labor.” The experience has brought a new perspective on life to Bremis, who shares that her biggest personal accomplishment in 2021 was being surrounded by friends, family and colleagues.
In her free time, Bremis is active in her community and serves as a member of the Rotary Club and the Lions Club and was a founder of the Dreams for Youth Foundation. Her philanthropic efforts include the Greg Hill Foundation, an organization that responds to the needs of families touched by tragedy, and the Somerville Museum.
