Allyson Kreycik wanted a career through which she could help people. Now almost 15 years into her real estate career, she’s helped a wide range of clients. Whether they are first-time homebuyers, multi-millionaires, downsizers, mini-van-driving suburban moms or investors looking to flip homes, she’s perfected the skill of catering to each individual’s specific needs. As a senior loan officer at Guaranteed Rate, Kreycik prides herself on excelling in her career, but considers herself a mom first. This year, she became the second female in her company to reach $100 million in year-to-date funded loan volume. She counts being one of the top female loan officers in the country while being a mother of three as her greatest professional achievement.

Kreycik is a University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate who enjoys the financial industry. Her family and faith drive her ability to work with clients and understand the wide variety of their financial needs. “I try to be available to the needs of others and I place myself in their shoes,” she says.

“My parents installed in me at an early age the importance of working hard and treating others with love and respect.” Since getting her start in the industry, she’s developed a close understanding of new construction lending, and has worked with developers, builders and new-construction sales agents.

At its core, her work is about helping people make the biggest financial decision of their lives, she says. She uses her knowledge of condominium guidelines and extended-rate-lock options to help her clients with financing – which make up the majority of her work. She also helps buyers with purchases and refinancing. But she doesn’t have to go it alone – she and her husband, Jon, make a strong team.

“[It] is wonderful to have a partner who understands and also excels at this business,” she says. “He inspires me and the reward of helping buyers achieve their dreams of home ownership also inspires me.”

Like her work, Kreycik’s hobbies are diverse. She enjoys country music, exploring the vast expanses of the Midwest and taking in the crashing waves in New England. As a proud Nebraska graduate and sports enthusiast, she loves her Cornhusker football team, and is a competitive golfer at her local club in Rye, N.H. On top of all that, she’s also a room parent at her kindergarten-aged daughter’s school, volunteers with her husband at a homeless shelter and teaches Sunday school to preschoolers at her church.
