Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors has completed the first session of its Leadership Academy with an Iron Chef competition at Harborview Restaurant in Hyannis.
The association noted on its website that the first of seven sessions aims to help leadership trainees get to know one another while working in teams.
This isn’t the first such event at the venue, but Harborview owner Michael Gustafson was impressed by the gusto of the real estate professionals who participated. “This is definitely one of the best classes I’ve had,” said Gustafson, judge and creator of this local competition. “I’ve seen some people immediately start throwing ingredients into the pan without giving it a thought. These teams really worked well together!”
The winner was Team Provincetown, according to a CCIAOR blog post.
The Leadership Academy aims to help Realtors improve their leadership skills and community knowledge.
