Framingham Realtor Nelson Zide received recognition from the National Association of Realtors for his donation to the REALTORS® Relief Foundation.

RRF provides housing-related assistance to communities impacted by disaster. The philanthropic arm of NAR formed in the aftermath of 9/11.

Zide’s $10,000 donation to the RRF landed him a plaque on a new donor wall at REALTOR® Plaza, outside of NAR headquarters in Chicago. Zide has long been involved in charity at home and beyond, receiving ERA Key’s Circle of Light Award and the Rotarian of the Year award from the Rotary Club of Framingham.

“Real estate has been my focus for my entire adult life,” he said in a press release. “I love to talk about it. I love to write about it. And, most of all, I love to sell it. That’s why I’m pleased to have donated to an organization that takes care of housing and other expenses for those who most need help.”
