Peabody Companies participated in the 11th Annual Dimock Center Road to Wellness 5K Run and Two-Mile Walk on Sept. 6. The event benefited The Dimock Center, a Roxbury organization serving under-resourced communities with holistic health and wraparound services including early childhood education, counseling and a food pantry.

Over 50 Peabody employees, family members and children of employees joined the walk.

“We’re proud to support initiatives like The Dimock Center’s Road to Wellness,” said Melissa Fish-Crane, principal and CEO of Peabody Companies. “It’s one of the many ways we live our mission beyond the buildings we manage.”

Many of the 36 communities managed by Peabody Companies currently are served by The Dimock Center. Peabody’s portfolio totals 2,080 units of affordable housing throughout Roxbury, Dorchester and Jamaica Plain.
