Developers have received approval to develop two residential towers on a 2.24-acre site at 75 Morrissey Blvd. in Dorchester.

A 1950’s era vacant commercial building and asphalt parking lot currently sit on the site. The project marks the first phase of a broader redevelopment effort in the area.

Each 18-story building will offer mixed-use ground-floor spaces and nearly 400 apartments. Approximately 150 units will be income restricted. Additionally, developers will add a community park, bicycle paths and sub-grade parking.

Project developer Andrew Flynn of Copper Mill originally proposed the project in late 2024. Earlier this month, Flynn received approval to move forward with the development from The BPDA, the City of Boston and a specially appointed group called The Morrissey Boulevard Community Advisory Committee.
