What was your most interesting job before going in
to lending? Hospitality (server bartender) for 18 years
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Play Guitar, listen to music, go to the beach (weather permitting) and spend time with my son.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Paulo Coelho, Brazilian lyricist and novelist. Most of his novels have had an impact on my life one way or another. Especially “The Alchemist”
Where is Boston’s best-kept secret? Giacomo’s Restaurant in Boston’s North End.
What do you love most about the industry? Helping people achieve the dream of homeownership, especially those who come here in search of the American Dream.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Time. Being a single mother to a special needs child with Autism and working full-time in this industry requires 36-hour days lol.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately? “Manifest,” “Ozarks” and “Good Girls.”
What’s your favorite meal in Boston? Stuffed lobstah 🙂
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Boston? Trinity Church. It’s simply majestic.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? I had a client show up at my house unannounced to bring his documents — NOT my office but my private home which address he found online then asked me out! Creepy!
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you? I’m a descendant of pirates Jean and Pierre Lafitte.
What’s your favorite vacation spot and why? Florida and Puerto Rico. I still have family there and the climate is a bonus. I can’t live without the ocean.
