The Dover-Sherborn Regional School District in Dover, Massachusetts, was ranked tops by Boston magazine. The district has a graduation rate of more than 97 percent and a college attendance rate of nearly 91 percent.
To compile the list, Boston magazine collected data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for schools that lie within or partially within Interstate 495. Districts that report multiple lower grade levels individually received a weighted average score.
