Related Beal is constructing a 239-unit affordable building/hotel in central Boston.

The residential units of the building will be available for individuals, couples and families with qualified incomes from 30 percent Area Median Income to 166 percent.

The construction of the building, or the “Parcel 1b project,” as it is called, will include a 14-story residential building, a 220 key-hotel, street level retail and on-site parking.

The Parcel 1b Project will be the first housing project under Boston’s affordable housing plan, “Changing City: Boston 2030,” which calls for 53,000 new residential units by 2030, with workforce units falling under 9,000 of that total.
