Nelson Otuechere, Broker-Owner

NCO Realty Group

Growing up in inner-city Boston, Nelson Otuechere overcame obstacles and paved his own way to success. Now he breaks down barriers for young adults eager to enter the real estate industry through his nonprofit, Pathway to Real Estate Profession and Producing Entrepreneurial Development (PREPPED), which equips overlooked Boston public high school students with the tools to thrive in real estate through hands-on workshops, mentoring and full tuition coverage for real esatate education.

As the principal and broker-owner of NCO Realty Group, Otuechere has honed a unique market edge through exclusive off-market transactions and a robust system of cold calling. His tailored approach extends across key Boston markets including Allston, Brighton, Brookline, Cambridge, Newton and Somerville. At the heart of his business is a simple philosophy: Build legacies. Otuechere’s business is not just about closing deals; it’s about creating lasting value for both seasoned investors and newcomers alike. He prides himself on his ability to transform a challenge into an opportunity in today’s dynamic real estate market.

In 2024, Otuechere and his team closed the highest-priced multifamily property deal to date in the competitive Allston neighborhood for that year, a transaction that Otuechere considers the crown of his 14-year career. Reflecting on how the landmark deal came about, he says, “I sold this listing to the previous owner during COVID when I launched my company in 2020. That opportunity turned into a development deal, which allowed me to share the experience with high school students. The biggest takeaway for me was that nothing happens by coincidence and every opportunity offers growth.”

Through PREPPED, Otuechere develops students’ ability to transform challenge into opportunity, a quality that has served him well throughout his career. For clients, he and NCO Realty strive to represent a partnership of expertise, innovation and deep commitment to community empowerment.
