Real estate is the only career Scarlett Tamburro has ever known. Tamburro, vice president at Advisors Living Boston, grew up in Weston. With 10-plus years of personal experience and three generations of real estate agents in her family, she combines the best of new-school selling with old-school negotiations to help clients in Boston and the surrounding areas achieve their goals.
Tamburro’s proudest moment came a few months ago, when she sold a $5 million co-op listing that was listed twice in the past three years by two top producers. It never sold until she took over. “I was able to take fresh photos and videos, market it, advertise throughout multiple PR routes such as Mansions Global, Boston Herald and Boston Globe,” she recalls. “I was able to get it under contract in three months. My seller was extremely happy, and now I have a client for life. I plan to sell another one of her homes in the next year.”
Tamburro uses modern technology and algorithms to put properties in front of the largest number of buyers in the least amount of time. She understands market conditions and can evaluate whether a property is overpriced or a buyer needs to bid significantly over the asking price. With sellers, she sets expectations and explains why a property may need to be priced differently.
“I am very knowledgeable about the areas and the positives, as well as concerns, with each property,” says Tamburro, who has referral agents in all 50 states, Canada and Caribbean islands. “I explain the process clearly so there are no surprises for buyers or sellers.” She loves the boundless opportunity that comes with the real estate business, remarking, “It gives me flexibility to live my life and travel while making money and helping people with the biggest financial decision of their lives.”
