It’s no surprise that Realtor Kate Perrine describes herself as a true people person. Having come from a large family as one of seven children, the extroverted Massachusetts native has always chosen work that involves being around – and helping – other people. Before getting her real estate license, Perrine coached children’s gymnastics and worked as a firefighter, EMT and rescue diver.
She entered the field as an investor in multiple properties, but true to her personality, she couldn’t resist the lure of helping others reach their real estate goals. “My favorite thing about my job is meeting new people all the time, knowing every day will be a different experience, and assisting people with all the decisions needed in order to purchase a home or to sell their home,” Perrine shares. “It is rewarding to establish relationships that continue on long after the closing day.”
Working out of Lamacchia Realty’s Northborough office, Perrine has extensive knowledge of the Boston suburbs, including her childhood hometown of Norwood, and Southern New Hampshire. Her local market expertise and decade of experience have served her well in successfully assisting her clients. “Working with families to navigate the selling and buying process is where I excel,” says Perrine, who begins each client relationship with a consultation to learn about their goals, build trust and develop a plan of action.
Education and building strong relationships with colleagues, lenders, attorneys, home inspection companies and other industry professionals are also high priorities for Perrine. She often participates in real estate seminars, where she enjoys educating others about the nuances and processes of selling and buying properties.
Perrine and her husband travel often and love nothing more than unwinding in tropical locales such as Hawaii, the Caribbean Islands and St John. She recently visited Greece and this year plans to explore state and national parks.
