Real estate is a hustle, but Sveta Vakhitova loves it. More than 90% of her business comes from referrals and repeat clients. Vakhitova, a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Warren Residential, considers herself an expert real estate guide rather than a salesperson. She begins each client relationship with a phone call to understand clients’ needs and discuss the initial phases of the process. “In this competitive market, it is important to have all your ducks in a row before you start an active home search,” she says. “It’s an emotional, life-changing decision that could be intimidating but very exciting.”
Named a top-selling agent in her office in July 2021, Vakhitova assists buyers, sellers, investors, landlords and renters in Greater Boston, with a focus on the South End, Back Bay, Somerville and Cambridge, as well as South Boston and East Boston.
Born and raised in Eastern Europe, Vakhitova moved to Boston 17 years ago and has enjoyed living and working in the city ever since. She earned her real estate license nine years ago, the same year she earned a degree in business management from Northeastern University; she also has a background in customer service and hospitality management. “I truly enjoy working with people,” she shares. “Transparency and honest communication are critical. Clients’ interest is always first.”
Even in the busiest of times, clients know they can count on hearing from Vakhitova in a timely manner. “I always find time to connect with each and every one of them, regardless of their budget or their home sale price,” she insists. “My clients are all equally important to me.” Vakhitova frequently volunteers at a nonprofit that feeds underserved people, truly believing in giving back to the community.
