Lifelong friends who grew up in the same neighborhood and attended the same college, Jon Libman and Tony Raby were destined to co-manage a successful real estate lending business. Drawn to real estate because of the success of close family contacts in the industry, the two strive to bring a family feel to the facts and figures of finance.
The duo specializes in many loan types, including Federal Housing Administration, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Department of Agriculture, bond and conventional loans. With a wide range of product options and top-notch communication, Libman and Raby are able to serve the needs of a diverse range of clients. Affectionately referred to as the “Tony and Jon Team,” they’re supported by six other team members responsible for processing and operations. They note this support as being crucial to their winning reputation and one of the reasons their business is 100% referral-based.
Over the past year, the team closed nearly $250 million in loan volume, of which the vast majority came from buyers in a market more favorable to other client types. Proud of having guided 746 families through smooth, on-time closings despite the tumultuousness of the pandemic, Libman and Raby ranked among Mortgage Executive Magazine’s top 1% of mortgage originators seven years in a row. They also were featured on the cover of Top Agent Magazine in 2018.
The close-knit relationship between their families helps to facilitate work-life balance, as they enjoy sharing in therapeutic activities such as travel and spending time at the beach. Both sports enthusiasts, Libman and Raby also enjoy skiing, golfing, coaching football and attending professional sporting events.
