Prior to real estate, Cool worked in non-profits as the executive director of the Armed Services YMCA and of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. To Cool, selling real estate is a lot like matchmaking. She knows a bit about marriage as a Justice of the Peace for the State of Massachusetts. For eight years Cool has been officiating the “I do’s” of 100’s of couples who choose Cape Cod as their wedding destination.

In 2020 her “Front Steps Project,” a photo journalism experience involving over 250 families on their front steps during the Covid lockdown, gained national acclaim and earned her the Good Neighbor Award for Cape Cod and the Islands. Over $30,000 was donated to the Falmouth Service Center thanks to the contributions of the families involved.
