Jamison named VP of region development for RE/MAX Northeast

by Liz Hughes

Sandy Jamison has been promoted to vice president of region development for RE/MAX Northeast, overseeing operations in 14 states from Maine to Ohio and Washington, D.C.

Jamison was previously the area vice president for the RE/MAX’s 15-state west region.

Before joining RE/MAX in 2011, Jamison was a franchisee of a meal-prep business, an experience she says helps her “connect to the realities of franchise ownership,” according to a company release. She later became a franchise development consultant for RE/MAX in St. Louis/Central Northern Ohio and over the years worked with affiliates in regions across the country. In 2020, she was named an area vice president of the company’s west region.

In her new role, Jamison will help RE/MAX brokerages grow their businesses.

“When I came to RE/MAX, I found that being on the support side of operations was my niche and where I like to be,” Jamison said. “I have empathy for these broker/owners because I know that when you buy a franchise, you have the systems and processes – but if you have somebody helping you who’s been there themselves, it can make running a business much easier.”
