What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Before going into real estate, I worked as a sales manager for a printing company. It was interesting and led me to my current career.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Fitchburg, Massachusetts with a very large family. I have 8 siblings.
What is Boston’s best-kept secret?
I wouldn’t say it’s a “secret” per se, but the best sushi you can get in Boston (in my opinion) is at Sushi by Bosso Ramen Tavern. Definitely recommend.
What do you love most about the industry?
The core of what I do, what my industry does, is helping people. I’ve built my entire career around that and it’s been a wonderful 35 years.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
Clients appreciate that I know what to look for in a home—not just on the surface, but behind the walls too.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
I sometimes find it difficult to maintain a balance between what clients hope for and what’s realistic in terms of the market. But experience and communication make all the difference in this scenario. It really is just about finding balance.
What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Truly, my family. I have a wonderful, big family that my wife of 38 years and I have built together that includes 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Boston?
Trinity Church is stunning.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
In 35 years, I’ve seen a multitude of weird things. We can start a story like this, “There once was a lady who collected dolls…” and I will let your imagination do the rest.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Gloucester seems out of the ordinary, because I imagine most would pick a destination spot. But my family has been going there for years to spend time with one another and celebrate holidays, birthdays and other familial events. It’s a spot we all love.

Highly educate yourself to be a solid client resource.
