William Raveis has acquired Nantucket-based Jordan Real Estate.
The boutique brokerage has served Nantucket for 32 years, led by co-owners Gloria Grimshaw and David Callahan since 2007.
“We welcome JRE to our family company. Gloria and David, long standing pillars of the community, along with our presence on Main Street, where we are proud to have many of the island’s finest producers, gives us an unmatched client offering,” said Chris Raveis, president of residential sales for William Raveis Real Estate.
“Those who are looking to buy, sell and rent homes on Nantucket or elsewhere will also benefit from our combined local expertise and dynamic agent referral network throughout the Northeast, Florida and the Carolinas.”
Known for giving back to the community, William Raveis has been a supporter of the Nantucket Historical Association, the Whaling Museum and Nantucket by Design. Grimshaw, Callahan and dozens of their agents serve on local boards, as well as volunteer across the island.
The new office is located at 17 Main St., on Nantucket.
“It is exciting to join forces with a company that mirrors our dedication to agents and clients on Nantucket as well as in luxury markets like Naples, Palm Beach, Hilton Head, and internationally,” Grimshaw and Callahan said. “Broadening our reach, we have a tremendous network supporting agents, buyers and sellers at William Raveis.”
In May, William Raveis acquired South Carolina’s Carson Realty, a family-owned real estate company serving the greater Hilton Head, Bluffton and Lake Keowee areas since 2006.
In December 2023, William Raveis acquired Molisse Realty Group, a family-owned real estate company serving buyers and sellers on Boston’s North Shore and South Shore since 2008.
The acquisition expanded the company’s Greater Boston region and brought three new offices to the company in Marshfield, Weymouth and Manchester-by-the-Sea, along with more than 60 agents.
