A recent Cape Cod property sale set a record as one of the highest property sales in Massachusetts this year at a whopping $15 million.

The sale of 300 Stage Neck Road in Chatham set a record price for the town and was one of the highest property sales in the state this year. 

Brian Dougherty, managing director of Compass’ Boston office and head of The Private Brokerage team, who confirmed the sale in a press release, said the sale also included an adjacent parcel at 0 Stage Neck Road, which was represented by Herb Entwistle of Cityscape Properties. 

The property at 300 Stage Neck Road was owned by the same family for more than 20 years as primarily a summer home. The 6.5-acre oceanfront estate surrounded on three sides by water, includes a separate guest house, infinity-edge pool, cabana and private beach.
