As a child, Julian Addy witnessed his parents go through a foreclosure. In the end, the family kept their home, but the event inspired him to enter real estate. It also led him to become passionate about empowering families by educating them on buying — and keeping — a home. He also believes owning a home to be the backbone of wealth creation for the average family.
Addy says he is optimistic and has a gift for dealing with difficult people. He learned grit and determination from his upbringing in New York City, marketing from working in television, sales from working at a software startup and the entrepreneurial mindset from being a Babson alum.
“I am relentless about helping clients accomplish their goals,” he says. “I am like a dog with a bone. I put together a catered plan for all my clients, whether they are buying or selling a home. We make sure to fully understand their financial goals and, equally as important, the type of lifestyle they want to have after making a move. We leverage agent-to-agent networking, off-market forums/groups and old-fashioned cold-calling and door-knocking.”
Knowledge of the area sets Addy apart. He understands the rhythms of Boston from his time exploring the food scene, and he travels the city taking his children to activities, which has helped him learn new neighborhoods. “I eat, sleep, play and worship in Boston,” he declares.
Addy was a member of REALTOR Magazine’s “30 Under 30” class of 2021. He also has been named a top agent in Boston by Expertise.com for five consecutive years, was a top-selling agent at The Agency Boston in 2023, was in The Agency Global’s Top 5% of agents for 2023 and is a Forbes BLK member.
