After earning a finance degree from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, in 2005, Jason Evans found his calling in mortgage lending, a career that let him combine his love for numbers with the joy of helping people buy homes. “I chose the lending business due to my love for finances and being able to offer a product that a wide range of people could relate to — home financing,” he says.
Now, with 19 years of experience, Evans has built a business around clear communication, speed and service. “I prepare clients by having an initial conversation about their homebuying plans so I can best guide them through the process,” he shares.
His eight-day closing timeline helps buyers move fast and feel confident securing their dream home. “Knowing how to navigate the lending process and clearly explain it to my clients upfront helps to avoid roadblocks and obstacles that waste valuable time during the process,” he notes.
Evans’ dedication to his craft has earned him national recognition. He has been a Scotsman Guide Top Originator for 15 years, ranked No. 5 in the U.S. in the Scotsman Guide Emerging Stars in 2022 and is a six-time Rate Presidents Club member (2019-2024).
With 90% of his business coming from referrals, he’s built lasting relationships with clients and real estate professionals. “In reviews, my clients are consistently talking about the excellent communication, speed and service that my team offers,” he explains.
Outside of work, Evans is all about family, coaching and making memories. He spends summers on Cape Cod with his wife and two children, has led his daughter’s basketball team to back-to-back state championships and never misses a chance to cheer on Boston sports teams.
