The town of Lexington has the best school system of all Greater Boston places, according to a new ranking from Niche.
Also rated highly were the school systems in Dover, Sherborn Town, and Acton Town. For its rankings, Niche considered state test scores, graduation rates, standardized tests, teacher quality, and student/parent reviews.
Here is the full top 10, along with the grade Niche awarded the system (for context, the highest rated system in the country was graded at 3.90):

- Dover – 3.24
- Sherborn Town – 3.24
- Acton Town – 3.22
- Boxborough Town – 3.22
- Brookline – 3.09
- Wellesley – 3.07
- Weston Town – 3.07
- Westwood Town – 3.00
