What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? Being a diplomat.

Where did you grow up? In the Dominican Republic

Growing up, what did you want to be? A successful businesswoman. 

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Read, pray, exercise, meditate and take outdoor walks.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Cleopatra for being a black woman Pharaoh, who ruled with high strategic intelligence, a fearless leader, risk taker who loved and protected her people and country.

What is Boston’s best-kept secret? The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

What do you love most about the industry? Being able to achieve my financial goals, work from home when I can or want, and having a flexible schedule at times.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I’m willing to collaborate with other agents openly and transparently with no drama or hostility even if we don’t work on my same brokerage, I have seen a lot of mean attitudes among agents unfortunately.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Home selling and buying is one of the most important decisions in life and for me, I try to communicate to the clients in a transparent way that I have what it takes to make the deal happen and that I’m prepared, capable and highly knowledgeable on what I do.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads? Nurture your leads and follow up with everyone.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? Two deals in two weeks.

What’s your favorite meal in Boston? Puttanesca in the North End

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Boston? The Park Plaza Hotel

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? Agents being very awkward and extremely skeptical and unwilling to work with me just because I’m from another agency. As if we are not in the same industry all together, I believe we have to work together and help each other.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you? My career change and age

What is your favorite vacation spot and why? Europe for its pure culture and quality life.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Take heart, don’t give up, be consistent, push and push again until you make it!
