Shanon-Imani Benjamin was appointed assistant development manager of Affordable Housing and Services Collaborative, Inc. In the role, Benjamin will organize the group’s development initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders during all phases of the real estate development process.
A Quincy resident, Benjamin has experience as an engineer with Davis Construction in Rockville, Maryland, and as a development associate with Dantes Partners in Washington, D.C. She’s also an active member of the Urban Land Institute and helped launch POIEMA Development Group in Orange, New Jersey.
“We are delighted to welcome Shanon-Imani to our development team,” Michael Mattos, president and executive director of AHSC, said in a press release. “Her professional and educational background and commitment to equitable housing development reflect the values we uphold at AHSC.”
During its 20-year history, AHSC has preserved or created over 3,000 affordable units and invested $360 million in Massachusetts affordable housing development.
