by Liz Hughes

Former Boston Ballet soloist Isaac Akiba has joined Hammond Residential Real Estate’s Chestnut Hill office as a real estate agent.

Akiba has transitioned from his distinguished ballet career to real estate, joining forces with the Marika and Adam Real Estate Group, led by Marika Feuerstein and Adam Aroesty.

Akiba will graduate from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business in May and said he looks forward to leveraging his skills to help clients in managing the homebuyer process.

“I am thrilled to bring the same level of dedication and precision from my ballet career to the world of real estate,” said Akiba. “My journey from the stage to real estate is guided by the pursuit of excellence. I look forward to collaborating with clients to find the perfect home while delivering top-notch customer service.”

Marsha MacLean, branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Realty and Hammond Residential Real Estate in Chestnut Hill, expressed her excitement about Akiba’s addition to the team. “We are delighted to welcome Isaac to our office,” MacLean said. “His background in ballet, marked by discipline and a commitment to excellence, will undoubtedly serve him well in his real estate career. We look forward to helping him grow and succeed as part of our team.”
