Touchstone Closing continues its expansion with the announcement that it has merged with Liberty Law to bring Newburyport law partners Robert Ciampitti Jr. and Charles S. Palmisano and staff to its team. 

In 2022, Touchstone welcomed Newburyports’ Tomlinson & Hatch to the firm.  

Touchstone says the Liberty Law team addition will help it significantly expand its presence in Newburyport with an office in the heart of its historic downtown. 

Liberty Law co-founder Palmisano has been a practicing attorney in Massachusetts for more than 30 years. He brings to Touchstone not only his experience in real estate conveyancing but also knowledge that real estate investors often tap into when it comes to acquiring, selling or financing investment properties. He’s served as vice chair of Newburyport’s planning board, was recently appointed to the Newburyport Board of Directors, is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee and is a guest lecturer. Palmisano lives in Newburyport with his family.

Liberty Law co-founder Ciampitti is also an alumnus and faculty instructor at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and is a 22-year member and chair of the Newburyport Zoning Board of Appeals. He joins Touchstone as a partner, bringing with him his more than 30-year career representing clients in real estate, land use and zoning, business, permitting, licensing and deal strategy. Ciampitti is a pilot who shares his love of aviation with his wife and two sons. He and his family also live in Newburyport. 

Attorney Arianna A. Gallagher also joins the team as a residential and commercial real estate attorney as does the residential real estate paralegal staff.
