Keller Williams launches new business-development programs for agents

by John Yellig

Keller Williams has unveiled three new business-development programs, or “communities,” for its agents, to provide them with specialized training, technology, coaching and referral opportunities.

The communities — KW Wealth, KW Relocation and KW Style to Design — come in addition to existing programs KW Luxury, KW Commercial, KW Land, KW Young Professionals, KW New Homes, KW Sports and Entertainment, KW Military and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion communities. Keller Williams expects to launch three more communities by the end of the year.

“As we push onward past COVID-driven market conditions, we’ve found agents want a greater sense of connection, empowerment and impact,” COO Sajag Patel said in a press release. “Developed in partnership with our agents, communities are how we’re leaning in to best serve them in support of their business growth.”

KW Wealth provides retreat-style workshops that cover wealth management, with a particular focus on agents’ “unfair advantage in real estate expertise” that can be used to increase passive income. The community will be led by Brett Tanner, who owns the Mesa, Arizona-based Brett Tanner Home Selling Team, which has more than 33 agents.

KW Relocation is a lead-generation community aimed at growing agents’ real estate businesses’ profitability through relocation partnerships, with on-demand training, certifications, events and thought leaders, as well as marketing assets. The director will be Christina Griffin, who is the team leader of the Tampa, Florida-based Griffin Group.

KW Style to Design will provide interior-design education and resources to help agents secure listings and offer more services to clients. Agents will be able to purchase home-staging inventory, and buyers can design a home through a “radically simple” online-ordering process.
